Day 25 - Entertained

Monday, 18 November 2013

We lounge on the balcony upstairs overlooking the ocean. A still calm morning, the sea a pale soft blue, smooth as glass.

The camera is on hand :)in the year since we last stayed here Inara has taken up learning to play the accordion. I am so impressed, only a year. However, she has worked very hard and practises diligently every day. How lucky are we to be so entertained, thoroughly enjoying it.

Creativity must run in the family. Zoe, Inara's youngest has her first poster exhibition this evening. We went along, the cheer squad Inara said. Held in a little trendy cafe in a subiaco like suburb! it was quite impressive. We got to meet Inara's eldest daughter, husband and their 4 children. I love meeting family of friends, a privilege.

We returned home, via a busy pub, overlooking the still waters of the bay. Don't see calm water like this in many places on the west coast (other than Dunns) it is my sort of beach.

Day 26 - Packing up

Tuesday, 19 November 2013

Lange and Inara have a few days they can spare to come for a short trip with us so the boys spent time deciding where to go, hovering over maps and considering all possible options.

I, meanwhile, got on with domestics - washing and food preparation. A quick shopping trip for fresh groceries with a small detour to some op shops. Ok I have had my fix for a while:) found a couple more tops, one for each of us. Sure I can squeeze them in somewhere.

We also had the 'privilege' of meeting one of lange's daughters, Imogen. She was being taken out by her dad for a birthday treat dinner. We had the pleasure of a lovely dinner and evening with Inara.
