Day 28 - Bridport to Whitehouse Beach

Had breakfast in Bridport near the old historic bridge whilst HH aired up. Lovely bay, lovely beaches. Sat having our cuppa chatting to another couple in a large slide on (pop top) from Stradbroke Island. Had a few chuckles about travelling together in such close quarters for such a length of time.
Checked out all the tracks to whitehouse Beach and eventually chose our campsite. Quite a lot to choose from. Very pleasant.
Got chatting on the beach later to a chap. Turns out his sister-in-law owns the "shack" just up from where we are camped. From Ararat in Victoria, been coming here for 37 years. Can't imagine spending your holidays in the same place EVERY year for that long. Said the weed on the beach came up last week during the storm. No good for fishing.
