Day 35 - Cosy Corner South
Monday, 3 March 2014
Eventually decided to stay another day.not bad, in 4 weeks this is only the 4th we have spent 2 nights in a place. Last night a possum landed on the roof (dropped out of the sheoak above) and it sounded like he was having a ball running around, or sliding around. Think the tarp down the side was his slide, had fingers crossed he wasn't going to tell his mates to come over and have a go.
Used up the last of the hash browns and had a cooked breakfast, followed by a walk up the beach, northwards. The large granite boulders here are beautiful and perfect for 'gazing' spots.
Rummaged around for the last of the lunch stuff in fridge, a couple of Sudoko's then off for a walk to the south. Over a couple of small rocky headlands and then a long sweeping bay but the sand is softer, so slow going. About halfway I spied the top of a Vista poking up above the dune/scrub. Wondered if it was the same couple we had met at Milkshakes Hill. As we got closer they waved, but as we got closer still it didn't look like them. However we approached, mistaken identities all around, but what the heck, they were from WA too (and had a Vista) lots in common.
