Day 44 - Bruny Island
Wednesday, 12 March 2014
Into Kettering to catch the ferry over to Bruny Island. Only a 15 minute crossing, no chance to feel queasy:)
HH had to check out every track (how unusual) they all turned out to be just access roads to private property, but HH insists it has to be done! North Bruny Island done, we drove down The Neck, stopping at the Big Hummock. Only 238 steps up the dune, but worth it for the almost 360 deg views. No penguins.
Decided to camp at the end of The Neck. Nice long walk along this beach, but camp area a bit crowded and lots of individual fires, choke choke.
